About me

Before pivoting to UX Research, I earned a Master of Arts in Art Therapy degree. I had the privilege of working as a Spanish-speaking therapist in the Latino immigrant community. I also spent many years in the social impact space working for mission-driven organizations such as shelters, residential facilities, and refugee centers. As a result, I developed my empathic mindset by listening, understanding, and uncovering people's needs. This unique journey to UX research allows for an intuitive perspective from which I approach my research practice.
